Get a FREE Ivatan Translator CD and help promote tourism in Batanes

More and more non-Ivatans are beginning to take notice and appreciate the beauty of our island-province. The provincial and local officials of Batanes are intensifying the promotion of tourism to our beautiful islands. Batanes is now presented in various websites on the internet. Let's help promote our province even further.

To compliment the tourism push for Batanes, there is now an Ivatan Translator in compact disc (CD) that is available FREE TO ALL who love Batanes and would like to speak its own language. This CD is specifically suited for those who would like their own version of the Ivatan Translator that is available on the internet without accessing the internet.

The FREE Ivatan TranslatorCD is available in either of two formats.

CD #1 - A CD that contains a single (1) program that presents translators of more that 3,000 English words to each of the three Ivatan dialects (or versions), namely Isamurongen, Itbayaten and Ivasayen and vice-versa. It also presents a conversational guide for each dialect and a comparative translator that displays at the same time the translation of an English word into the three dialects. Here we have a single program in one CD.

CD #2 - A CD that contains three (3) separate translator programs - one for each of the three dialects. Each program translates more than 3,000 English words and vice-versa. Like the other CD each program also has its own conversational guide for each dialect. Here we have 3 individual programs in one CD.

All the CDs included a short guide to installing them in the computer for those less familiar with installing programs from CD.

Specify in your email the number of copies you want, CD#1 or CD#2 and your complete name and postal address. (Within 3 days after you send your email, you will receive an acknowledgement from the author and his complete postal address.)

(2) - For each copy ordered, send to the author by postal mail the amount of US$10.00 or the equivalent Australian Dollars in cash or in International Postal Money Order (no checks please to avoid delay) to cover the cost of a CD with case, labeling, packing and mailing. Please allow 10 - 14 days delivery time via the postal system.)

(Note: The Ivatan Translator program can be made available in 1.44 mb diskettes for those without a CD ROM in their computer. However this may take up more than 20 diskettes which will be more expensive in the mail. If you want this please write the author.)
