Website for BNHS Alumni recently launched

In 1999, BNHS turned 75 years old. And for the past 75 years, it has graduated approximately eight thousand (8,000) students from all its campuses. Basco (main) accounted almost 70% of the graduates. Many of these graduates have gone on to become successful professionals not only in the Philippines but also in other countries around the world.

This growing number of BNHS alumni prompted Mr. Nick Acacio, former Assistant Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Communications (Manila) to launch the BNHS Alumni directory website. It contains list of graduates of the Batanes National High School from 1924 to 1999. Likewise, it contains a page where an alumnus/alumna can put his/her data so that his or her classmates and friends can communicate with him/her.

"This alumni website is my gift to the BNHS on its 75th year in 1999" say Nick who is very thankful for the support provided by Mr. Hontomin and Ms. Celerina M. Navarro in facilitating the list of graduates.
