DE GUZMAN, PNPA 2006

Dennis Castillo De Guzman (b. Oct. 24,
1981) graduated on March 29, 2006 from the Philippine National Police
Academy (PNPA) at Silang, Cavite among a batch of 177 cadets. The graduation
issue of the PNPA magazine, KALASAG, lists him Rank 14 of top 20 achievers.
He was the Battalion Commander of the 2nd Battalion of the academy's
two battalions. This batch chose Bagsay Lahi (Arrow Race) as its class
name and "The
Journey" of Lea Salonga as its class song.
He is the youngest child of Luz Blanca
Castillo, a Nurse Attendant at the Itbayat District Hospital and Eliseo
Gato De Guzman+, a police officer.
Dennis hails from Barangay Sta. Maria (a.k.a. Marapoy), Mayan (Itbayat,
Batanes). His rank in the PNP effective graduation day is Police Inspector,
equivalent to Ensign or 2nd Lieutenant in the military service. His
elder brother, Merine, belongs to PNPA Class 2005.
