RARE BIRDS SEEN IN BATANES

Black-faced spoonbill, migratory birds believed to be
part of the 550 indiduals left in the wild throughout the world.
Official
record shows that these birds were last seen in tidal areas of Luzon
in 1914.
Park Ranger Alexander Binalon recognized the birds through posters distributed
by the Protected Areas Wildlife Bureau (PAWB).
