Peace Corps Alumni Foundation for Philippine Development awards scholarship grant to 2 Ivatans

The Peace Corps Alumni Foundation for Philippine Development has just announced the scholarship awards for the coming school year. Two students from Batanes are among the scholarship recipients this year: Mary Roseline Acebes Cabalce and Edwin Winston Agito Valientes, both from Ivana. Mary is studying Computer Engineering at Adamson University in Manila. Edwin, currently a student at Batanes Polytechnic College, plans to study Anthropology at the University of the Philippines.

The Peace Corps Alumni Foundation for Philippine Development is a non-profit organization run by former Peace Corps Volunteers and friends of the Philippines.
